A REVIEW OF MY DAY: YESTERDAY'S THANKSGIVING SUNDAY
Yesterday which was the first Sunday of the month of august was almost like every other day but the difference is it's actually the only day I spend more time listening to the word of God. Yeah before I continue, every first Sunday of the month is always a Thanksgiving Sunday here which we thank God for giving us the grace to be alive and yet seeing another month of the year.
It is quite surprising that this year is quickly going to an end. It was just like yesterday which we did new year celebration. Though this year had not been the best of years but it is still worth giving thanks to be alive once again. This post is just a review of how my Sunday went.
I woke up from bed early this morning by 7am which the next activity was to do our usual morning devotion. Every morning like that, I pick up my guitar to play the guitar and sing along with the rest of the family. This is an everyday routine of my life which I can not skip as it is important to first dedicate the day to God and also thank him for yet another day.
Next on, I switched on the television to watch our usual life Sunday service that is shown on the DStv channel dove tv. I had a wonderful live service and sermon which is usually led by the overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG), Pst. Enoch Adeboye. After the sermon, thereafter was the offering and tithe which was later prayed upon by the wife of the general overseer, Mrs. Foluke Adeboye.

I went on to iron my dress in preparation for a ceremony to attend today, which I am in presently as I am typing. Below is the dress which I was ironing.
Thereafter, I felt really hungry that I had to eat breakfast before I brushed or took my bath. I ran into the kitchen to see what my mum may have prepared and found she had made a delicious Jollof rice and boiled egg, plus I had moimoi left in the freezer which would be great to eat with the food she cooked. Without wasting time, I dished down my own food.
After I was done eating, I went to do the necessary by brushing and taking my bath immediately.
Below is a plate of Jollof rice and moimoi
Thereafter, I went to clean up the car, so I could drop my dad at the airport. He was traveling to another city for work related matters.
I must say I had a good day, nothing surprisingly happened but it was good. I was/am happy still be alive and healthy to perform most of those activities.
Now it's Monday, I will drop how today went by tomorrow and I hope your day went well also.
