It is no news that all big tech companies i.e f facebook, Youtube, twitter and the likes have banned Donald Trump from social media and now releases a new social media available only for IOS (at the moment) in the United States.

He named his newly launched social media Truth Social which from my review looks so much alike to his favorite media i.e. Twitter. From the images below, I am sure you can see there are little to no difference between the two interfaces

I don't know the plan of Donald Trump but I think he is brilliant for making a copy to twitter, and why do I say that? First, donald trump has the popularity he needs to push his social media and still, he makes a social media that is very similar to what the world is used to. Since people see that it has almost the same interface as twitter, they would feel it is worth the try testing out the site. Let's see the difference, let's compare which that we would like.

And if, Donald can make a slight difference that would make truth app better than twitter. He could probably steal away some of Jack Dorsey's users. Who knows? it is just a thought.

So the question is, What is the main aim of Truth App?

This is the first thing I asked myself. It is easy for one to say because yeah trump was shut off social network that's why he chose to make one of his own, but I know there is more to it. So what's more to it? Trump definitely misses his followers I guess. We all know trump was very active on twitter and tweets very often in a day. My research shows that trump tweets on an average of 30 times a day and did have a follower base of almost 90 million on twitter when he wasn't banned. I think truth social is just a way to drag some of his followers back and begin sharing some truths (tweets).

From what I have read so far, for Donald's app, every tweet made is called truth and every retweet made is name retruth.

IS THE APP AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE AND ALL APPSTORES?

For now, the truth social app is only available for IOS users, and coming soon for android users. I would have really loved to test out the app but too bad that it is not available for my country. I know you would probably be thinking if it would be available in your country as well?

From what I know of, the app is available only for those in US and Canada but if you are in anywhere else in the world and would love to give it a try, you can access it using a VPN. But for me, I personally don't like using VPNs so I am good.

HOW IS THE APP DOING SO FAR SINCE THE LAUNCH?

The app was launched yesterday, 21st of February 2022, and pretty much have people registering already but there have been reports of users having problems with the registration process like; the date of birth, e-mail and phone-number. Asides that, there are still massive number of users placed in a waiting list due to large number of registrations.

WHAT ARE MY THOUGHTS SO FAR?

Truth is I can't say anything yet than just to see how things play out. Would Donald Trump be able to get his followers back?
