Hello everyone, it has been a while I answered a blogging challenge question and I am glad to write in this beautiful community once again. Today I would be sharing a story of my greatest shame. It is one of my most forgettable days which I think I may have shared before on Hive but not sure.

Hola a todos, ha pasado un tiempo respondiendo una pregunta de desafío de blogs y me complace escribir en esta hermosa comunidad una vez más. Hoy estaría compartiendo una historia de mi mayor vergüenza. Es uno de mis días más olvidables que creo haber compartido antes en Hive, pero no estoy seguro.

It goes back in time of about 2017/2018, there was a night concert in my church and I am the guitarist of my church choir so I was the one playing that night. I got to the church very early and got my guitar ready for the show. There were people already in the church waiting for the concert to begin.

Se remonta aproximadamente a 2017/2018, hubo un concierto nocturno en mi iglesia y yo soy el guitarrista del coro de mi iglesia, así que fui yo quien tocó esa noche. Llegué a la iglesia muy temprano y preparé mi guitarra para el show. Ya había gente en la iglesia esperando que comenzara el concierto.

Just about 5 minutes to when the concert would start, I was busy playing the guitar freestyling on the stage in front of everybody. I was really enjoying the time until I got a little tired then decided to drop the guitar to sit on the drummer's chair.

Apenas 5 minutos antes de que comenzara el concierto, estaba ocupado tocando la guitarra en estilo libre en el escenario frente a todos. Realmente estaba disfrutando el tiempo hasta que me cansé un poco y luego decidí dejar caer la guitarra para sentarme en la silla del baterista.

Unknowing that the drummer's chair was not properly placed, I sat on the chair then fell backwards pulling down the stage design to the ground. As I fell down, my leg hit off the toms and cymbals of the drum set. All this happened on stage while everybody was looking at me. The congregation was already full of people. The worst thing is that the stage design that fell off, they paid for it and some my fellow choir members was looking at me in a weird manner.

Sin saber que la silla del baterista no estaba colocada correctamente, me senté en la silla y luego caí hacia atrás tirando del diseño del escenario al suelo. Al caer, mi pierna golpeó los timbales y platillos de la batería. Todo esto sucedió en el escenario mientras todos me miraban. La congregación ya estaba llena de gente. Lo peor es que el diseño del escenario que se cayó, lo pagaron y algunos de mis compañeros del coro me miraban de una manera extraña.

You know that feeling when something pains you but you have to put up a smile so nobody would see the pain in your face. That is exactly what I did but some people were telling me sorry and the more they told me sorry, I felt like crying. I had to leave to a quite place alone to absorb the pain very well before coming back on stage. Through out the concert, I could not play to my best because of what happened.

Conoces esa sensación cuando algo te duele pero tienes que poner una sonrisa para que nadie vea el dolor en tu rostro. Eso es exactamente lo que hice, pero algunas personas me decían que lo lamentaban y cuanto más me decían que lo lamentaban, más ganas de llorar. Tuve que irme a un lugar tranquilo solo para absorber muy bien el dolor antes de volver al escenario. Durante todo el concierto, no pude tocar lo mejor posible debido a lo que sucedió.
