EXPLORING VENUE FOR XMAS HIVE MEETUP \\ VISIT TO OOPL

For adequate preparation for the Hive meetup, I and monioluwa went to the venue OOPL to see the sections we would be visiting this Saturday (18th December) with the rest of the Hivers.

One of the places we first visited was the small bar in the OOPL. The reason was because we were looking for a spot where we can meet to discuss briefly about Hive.

From the picture above, @monioluwa and I decided to buy a yoghurt drink which cost $2 each. We were shocked at this price because that same yoghurt is not up to $1 outside the venue.

After talking for a brief minute, we decided to move to check for other places. While going to check out the zoo, we saw this giant rock. It looked so beautiful, so we decided to take some pictures with it which you can see in the images below

After taking some of these pictures we decided to check out the zoo but we didn't enter because it cost $1 per person and we didn't plan to spend as much since it is just to explore for the proper meet up.

So we saw two horses outside and we decided to take pictures of them which you can see in the image below.

After seeing the zoo, we went to see how the cinema would be like. We didn't know where the cinema was located, so we asked for directions and we figured out our way.

We finally saw the cinema building, then we decided to go in and check it out and took some pictures.

We asked for prices to watch the cinema but it is for $3 per person in we took note of.

From there, we went to check out the boat cruise. From the questions we asked, we got to know that there were two kinds of boats, one which is engine type and one which is driven by leg wheel.

To cruise on the engine type, we would pay $5 per person while on the leg wheel type it is for $3 per person.

From afar, we watched others cruise on the leg wheel type of boat while feeding the catfish that are in the water. Yeah, there are catfish in the water, and they are many in numbers. I was surprised myself seeing this.

While watching, we got to meet a girl named Ruth, who came by to join us in the view and also converse with it. We had nice time with the few minutes we had together.

We also took pictures together before leaving each other but we didn't exchange contacts.

We had a nice time together, and it was fun. Tomorrow, I would upload a short video about places we would visit and how we plan visiting this place. It would contain our expenditure plans for places we would visit and most likely for food and drinks also.
