So this early morning, I remembered I haven't warm the engine of the Toyota Corolla sport my dad owns, since I last parked it which was about 3 days ago. So I had to look for the key and I could not really remember where I dropped the key but anyways, I later found the key to the car.

I went on to the car to start it but it was not kicking, then two possible fault came to my mind. Could it be from the car battery or the kick of the car. Why I thought of this faults is because they both have similar issues of the car not starting and also, the Toyota Corolla has previously had issues with the kick, so I thought maybe the new one could be faulty again.

Anyway before I jump into conclusions which was the actual fault, it was best I check if it was the car battery. I had to properly adjust the terminals of the battery then restart but it didn't start, then I had to pour a little water on the terminal to reduce the corrosion on the battery, but still no answer. Then the best way to solve the problem was to take out the battery from the other car in the house, which is a Nissan Pathfinder 2000 model, to start the car and also charge up the battery of the corolla

I didn't have a battery jumper that I can use to clip both batteries so I did it the harder way, which is just to remove the battery of the Pathfinder and place it into the corolla to start the engine. Then fix in the corolla battery so it can charge up and return back the Pathfinder's battery. It was just as simple as that.

After placing the battery of the Pathfinder into the corolla, I was just left to start it the engine, then replace the former battery back to charge up while the engine is in and then return the Pathfinder's battery.

Before I return the Pathfinder battery, I noticed there was a lot of corrosion on the terminals of the battery, so I removed the terminal to clean it and applied a contact spray on it.

So what is left is to fix in back the battery into the Nissan Pathfinder.
