MISSED ME PLAYING THE GUITAR? || MY LIFE IN THE PAST 3 MONTHS

I haven't created any musical content in a while; the only musical content I have available is my guitar videos; I'm not a singer, just a musician. The reason for this is that I haven't been stable at my home in Abeokuta, and the illness I had in June made me stay in Lagos for two months instead of three days, even though I only had two shirts, a pair of pants, and two boxers with me.

Going out and seeing people in the limited clothing I had was not at all easy, but I was thankful to have an older brother who came to my aid a month later by offering me a shirt and a pair of pants. I was overjoyed. It wasn't enough, so I had to spend two days returning to Abeokuta to get some extra clothing to help out.

However, I had to have a minor argument with my parents in order to gain that freedom. Due to how sick I was previously, this was understandable, and I have no doubt that they worried about losing me at some point. They are overprotective of a young adult who is capable of taking care of himself for these reasons.

With a little help from my older brother, I managed to win the fight, and I eventually made it to Abeokuta. I was unable to accomplish my main goal in travelling to Abeokuta, which was to register for my voter's card as well as to buy clothes. I spent a significant amount of time away from Hive during the registration process, and I ultimately failed to register.

The painful thing is that I didn't document how the registration process went with photographs, so I had no idea how to write about it to make up for the time and money I had lost. However, the fact that I am talking about it now proves that it is not a waste.

About three weeks ago, a few days after returning to Lagos, the news of my granny's passing broke. My dad, who cherished that woman (his mother) dearly, felt the greatest hurt. His mother had been there for him the majority of the time when there was essentially nothing after his father abandoned him when he was 7 years old. He used to sell toiletries to raise money for the family's food.

I got to meet a lot of my relatives last week at her funeral service. Due to the enormous size of my family and the number of wives and children my grandparents had, it is nearly impossible to know all of my cousins. Imagine having crush for a girl at my grandmother's funeral only to discover that she is my cousin; it hurts, but I accepted my faith. As a good brother, I wanted to stay in touch with her and see if I could be of assistance by giving her advice on how to stay on track and make plans for the future.

The camp my church just finished holding was one of the factors that contributed to my being busy and unable to produce any content for the past four days. After my grandmother was buried, I immediately went to the camp where people had been waiting for me since the previous Monday. Because I could play the guitar and was the only one there, I was a very valuable member.

Wow, what a show. The way they set up the camping program impressed me. Aside from that, they did a good job planning the stage and provided excellent food and security. According to what they stated during the announcement, they spent about $7000 on hosting the program. They undoubtedly spent millions on the program. Due to what I witnessed, it was definitely worth it, and I hope they get to do this frequently.

Back to the present, I will be buying my mother a new Android phone because her current one is subpar. I'm going to buy her a Samsung A13, which costs about $200. The phone's specifications are fine in my opinion. It is a mid-range device that ought to calm her down perfectly. Since all she uses her phone for is Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, Text Messages, and Phone Calls, she doesn't need anything particularly large.

I would then, hopefully, be returning to Abeokuta permanently by tomorrow. With that, I would intend to reinstall FL STUDIO on my computer and start creating music for Hive. This week, I don't think it would be feasible, but hopefully, something would happen the following week.
