MY #HIVETESTIMONY || TESTIMONIAL INITIATIVE
It is awesome to be participating in this initiative by @theycallmedan. The purpose of this hive initiative is to motivate and inspire new hivers on ground. So let's move on
MY ENTRY TO THE #HIVETESTIMONY INITIATIVE
HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT HIVE
The reason why I wasn't interested again was because I knew I was the kind that wasn't good in English and don't really know what to blog about. I have no knowledge of what to explain or put down back then plus the feeds on steemit back then was just filled with crytocurrency which I didn't have much knowledge about.
After a while, I decided to join when I noticed @k-banti bought a smart phone with his earnings on steem/hive plus he told me I could be making cover of songs on my blog. I thought it was something I can do. So I joined on June 9 2018
After everything, I didn't get upvotes on my post which didn't motivate me then I dropped steemit when it started to reduce in value. Since the value of steem tokens was low then my thought was what is the worth of me wasting my time on a token with low value and I would have to pay for reblogs and upvotes. So I left steem on October/November 2018.
2 years later, I received a message on WhatsApp from @k-banti exactly on the month of may this year that hive had been forked from steem and it is way better than how steem was. I thought of given hive another try.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF HIVE
I saw that hive had a future and I was ready to be part of it. I moved on to join the terminal which is actually like a school for hivers to have knowledge on everything they need to know about hive. Shout out to @justclickindiva @brittandjosie and @kittygirl for their awesome work.
After knowing all I need to do, I decided to focus on onboarding new users to Hive and I asked for the assistance of @k-banti which gave birth to the @hivepack account. We have onboarded over 30 people but the main goal is not in the onboarding but in bringing people who would love to move with hive in times when things are down
WHAT NOOBIES SHOULD KNOW
As in social medias, you need to meet people and make friends. So I began to read more than I wrote. I also tried using my free time to comments on people post. I do not mean just comment but comments that involves me sharing my feelings and thoughts of what the person wrote and even saying my experiences. That's what they call engagement.
I have met interesting people like @josediccus who is a psychologist and one of my best authors, the beautiful @sugarelys an awesome supporting friend, @steevc who has been really supportive, @belemo, @nonsowrites, @kamchore, @rollinshive, @mistakili, @tykee, @galenkp and the funny @smasssh and many more. I would love to make more friends as that's what I am good at. If you want to relate with me, my DM on discord is widely open you can message me; starstrings01#8020
HOW DO I SHARE MY PASSION AND TALENTS
I work as an elevator engineer having a diploma in electrical engineering in an elevator company called SAMPOPE GRAND CONCEPT. Knowledge of elevators are not thought in school so you would still have to learn it after finishing school. I started working as an elevator engineer after I finished my diploma in 2018. So I pretty already have little knowledge on how they work.
So in short, I recently resumed back to work after this pandemic issue and I share a daily episode of what I do at work with the problems and how they were solved.
IN CONCLUSION
Never compare yourself with others, many here have spent alot of time here and they have worked their asses engaging and investing on their growth. So if you see someone with higher upvote, it simply means if that person could get that you could get better if you are ready to be determined and focused. Remember NOTHING GOOD COMES EASY
Always try sharing the best of your content. There is a saying that says: ANYTHING WORTH DOING, IS WORTH DOING WELL. Try as much to always improve in your contents because you don't know where it could take you to.
Hive helps its owners develop on their personal growth. It is rear for you to see something that contributes to you and ends up paying you for it. So do this for yourself and not for others or the reward then you would be surprised when the rewards begins to come in.
In all that has been said PATIENCE, DETERMINATION, PERSEVERANCE AND HIGH SELF-ESTEEM is what you need to #THRIVEONHIVE. I do hope you take note of all that has been said. Thank you.
