Yesterday, I made a post about two acronyms of FEAR, the first and second being; forget everything and run, and face everything and rise. I explained in detail the meaning of these two FEARS, yet some people still feel it is not okay to move a step backward when you face challenges instead you should move a step forward to rise above them.

I believe not every time facing your challenge straight up is a wise move to do. It is actually a risky one because a lot of time must have been wasted while battling those challenges. Just imagine what would be left of you when these challenges you face took you more time than expected because you refuse to take a step back to take a proper look at your challenge.

One of the best quotes I used to describe the first fear (FORGET EVERYTHING AND RUN) was We retreat to fight another day.

This statement was made to bring out the importance of restrategizing to fight again. It doesn't show any sign of cowardliness or anything, it is just being smart about succeeding.

It is almost similar to taking a rest when partaking in a heavy task. If you don't take a rest, then your body might break down before completing the task and you may end up taking a long time before you accomplish your goal.

Now, imagine if you are a strong-headed kind of person who refuses to retreat and believes so much in himself not to retreat but to keep facing his fears (challenges) using the same strategy he knows. He keeps up pushing and pushing, day by day, still weeks pass and even months hoping one day, he would rise above his fears (challenges). But, here is the real question:

This is a question to ask oneself? Now, it is neither about being brave enough to face your fears but now about being smart enough? The title of this post has said it all that retreating doesn't make one a coward so far it is to restrategize to fight another day.

So whatever challenge you have been on for so long, that you have been heading on for a while, now is time for you to question your methods. Have you carefully analyzed the problem, have you seen the best solution or methods to tackle this problem?

Then if not, you are just that person who is brave enough to face his fears but not smart enough to retreat, prepare, and restrategize on how to rise above his fears if not, you would keep up being knocked down by those fears.
