This morning, I decided to spend some time with the family at the living room than just usually being in my room alone with my computer watching movies, chatting and moving around Hive. While I was with them, we watch this particular animation that really struck a great lesson out of it. So I thought that it would be great to write about the movie "SNOW QUEEN 2" and the lesson I could learn from it.

Obviously, there cannot be a snow queen 2 if there isn't a part 1. When I joined in to watch this movie, the first part was already at the ending so I didn't get the main idea of the story at the first part but thankfully, it seems the Snow Queen 2 focuses on another story line but still, they somehow interlink to the first part.

The plot of this part focuses on Orm who is a troll and loves his grandmother more than anything and would do anything at any cost for his grandmother. The grandmother was supposed to be married to the king but due to some issues she didn't and only dreamed to be living in the castle. Orm had to lie to everybody (all trolls) that he was the one who killed the Snow queen in order to marry the princess and be able to live in the castle with his grandmother.

THE LESSON THAT CAN BE LEARNT FROM THIS MOVIE

The movie certainly depicts the lesson that lying doesn't make things better but instead leads to more and more lies which later ends up to disappointment and disgrace. Orm didn't only lie to trolls of his kind but also to his human friends. At the end of it, when things were going so bad for him and didn't know where else to turn to, he realized that the only thing that can set him free from the cage he has put himself in was the truth. No wonder there is a quote in the bible: "THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE"

The second lesson that can be learnt from this animation is to "Overcome your greatest flaw and inner demons". The truth is not everyone is perfect and we should try to do the right thing no matter what. Orm showed a great ideal by vanquishing himself and accepting his doings, his errors. This shows, no matter what we do, we should do the right thing and learn to own our errors.
