THE SPIRIT OF GRATITUDE IN RELATION TO BUILDING CONNECTIONS
Gratitude does a lot to us no matter how little it may be. In another words I can say that showing gratitude means telling a person you really appreciate the help and is worth being helped again in future.

You get the point now?.. it doesn't take anything from us to show gratitude no matter how little but adds to us. We might feel the help or assistance rendered might be little to nothing but truth is if you show a larger gratitude for a little help indirectly, you tell the person: hey, I would appreciate your help no matter how little?
At this point, or in a later scenarios of need, you may not need to ask before help is rendered because of the message you have passed the person initially.
A connection has been built with that person. It doesn't matter if the person was a stranger or someone who you think you may not see again. We are in a small world, so your expression of Gratitude would bring your name or your image to the thoughts of who helped you.
I don't know if you may have expressed this with someone before but it is even common when you show appreciation to the universe for what it does to you. Or better said, when you show appreciation to God for every little help or opportunity.
If the universe sees how grateful you are, in another words you saying; hey universe! I am open to more help from you.
What inspired this post, was an event that occurred yesterday. Let me share you a part of my life;
I am at the period of exams, and most likely I read in school instead of at home because when I am at home, I get so much attracted to my bed. So reading at night seems to be the best option for me at school.
So, I had arrangement with friends to go to school by night before the school gates are closed by 10pm prompt. While waiting for each of them, they each stood me up and said they were not going when it was die minutes to 10pm.
I got discouraged and pained but with me already being late to get to the gate, I walked to the school gate and it was already locked. I wanted to go back home but I knew I would not study if I am at home; I prefer studying where I am not comfortable than somewhere when I feel very comfortable or else I would most likely sleep off.
Without having any choice left, I stayed at the gate and started begging the security men. I had to beg so they would know how important it is for me to be in the school to study
After so much begging, the security let me in. I was really happy that he did without even asking me for anything. Maybe it was because he saw how much I needed to be in school, I just didn't know. So in order to show my gratitude; I asked for his bank account number and transferred #2000 naira i.e $4 to his account.
He never expected it from me, it showed nearly in his eyes 😅. He had to ask for my name, and collected my contact number.
That moment, this topic struck me; gratitude in relation to building connection. My expression of Gratitude to the man made him wanted to know me and also have my contact.
I am most likely sure that if I come late again, he may let me pass without having to plead so much. But still, it's never an opportunity for me to come late.
